Blossom Education’s 2023 Reading Challenge

It’s the final day of 2022 and I present to you Blossom Education’s 2023 Reading Challenge. Designed to be achievable but also offer some challenge, I hope you decide to take part!

I know that many people will be reflecting on the year that’s almost been and gone as well as looking ahead to 2023, wondering how things might be different and what they could achieve.

Benefits of a Challenge

Reading is an excellent form of me-time. It can transform your mood at the turn of a page and can help you to view events and characters in different ways. Choosing books from a variety of categories means that you are expanding your horizons. Too many people stick to the same genre, the same author and the same style, often meaning that any plot twists or cliff hangers will be more obvious.

We always teach our children about the benefits of picking up a book, but how many of us adults actually do the same on a regular basis?

Why not take part in the challenge with a friend? You can help each other to stay on track!

Blossom Education’s 2023 Reading Challenge

Here’s our reading challenge… there are 30 different categories to complete. Some are much easier than others, but it is definitely something you can accomplish. I’m going to take part as well. Of course, with a baby on the way and a hectic home life as it is, I am bound to have time! It is vital to make time for yourself though as a parent, particularly impactful on your mental health.

Print off the PDF, stick it up on your fridge or noticeboard and tick each one off as you go. Once you start to see progress, you will undoubtedly wish to stick to it.

Good luck!
